Eucharistic Visitors to the Homebound

Eucharistic Visitors extend the love of Christ to parishioners who are unable to attend Mass because of illness, age, or other circumstances. They carry the Body of Christ from the altar to the homes, hospitals, and care facilities of our parish family, ensuring that no member of the Body of Christ is left without the grace of the Eucharist.

This ministry is a ministry of love for the Eucharist and love for our brothers and sisters in need. We strongly encourage all who serve as Eucharistic Visitors to cultivate a deep devotion to the Blessed Sacrament through regular Holy Hours, with a minimum of the First Friday devotion.

Training is provided, and those with a heart for pastoral care are encouraged to consider this profound ministry of presence and prayer. We especially need more volunteers at St. Frances Cabrini to bring the love of God to all our homebound.

If you are interested in serving as a Eucharistic Visitor to the homebound, please contact Joe Greey at joe@cabrini.us.
