Why We Are Becoming a Parish Family
As part of the Archdiocese of Seattle’s Partners in the Gospel initiative, our local parishes—St. Frances Cabrini, St. John Bosco, and Immaculate Conception—have begun the journey of becoming a parish family. This process is rooted in the call to renew parish life, strengthen our mission, and ensure a vibrant Catholic presence for generations to come.
With fewer priests, changing demographics, and a deep desire to grow as disciples of Jesus, the Archdiocese is bringing parishes together to collaborate more closely, share resources, and build stronger faith communities. By becoming a parish family, we are not losing our identity—we are gaining partners in mission, united in prayer, service, and the Eucharist.
Together, we will discern how best to serve our community, grow in faith, and live out the Gospel in a more sustainable and Spirit-led way. To learn more about the process of Partners in the Gospel, click the button below.
